Mark your calendars for the MAIS Conference in Rome, November 7-10, 2002. Alumni of the K-3 Pre-Conference in Madrid will join together to present a MAIS Conference one-hour session on Sci-Lit Links in their schools. Be prepared for some very interesting stories! Importantly, in Rome there will be another 2-day Sci-Lit Links Pre-Conference program, but this time for MAIS teachers of grade 4 through 6. Spread the word! Same deal as Madrid: participating grades 4-6 teachers will receive stipends of $300 each from MAIS and the OSAC grant, 12-18 children’s books for home school use (all different from this year’s Madrid program), and science materials.
